1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
It makes no difference to God regarding how sinful or rotten you are or how many murders you have committed or how many lies you have told. All that matter is this:
All have sinned and all have fallen short of the glory of God.
All are guilty of committing murder, everyone one of us. Why, you may ask? Because each and every one of us is guilty for putting Christ Jesus on the cross.
Repent, each and every one of you! Repent and turn form your wickedness or you will in the same manner perish as a spider gets hurled into the flames.
You do not know that you will have a tomorrow. You have no guarantee that you have time to get your ducks in a row and then think about God. You could just as easily die today as you could die 50 years from now.
When that day comes, it will come on you without warning. Then it will be too late.
